JOB SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Supervisor manages various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions. This position will work a 2/2/3 rotating 12 hour shift. 6pm-6am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Individuals in these roles primarily focus on directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of others and mobilizing resources.
- Supervisors typically manage 15 or more direct reports.
- Monitor achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
- Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
- Coaches and address performance related issues following progressive discipline for safety, quality, performance, training and attendance.
- Supervises entry-level or semi-skilled hourly employees such as production and clerical workers.
- Coordinates resources and sets daily priorities for the team to ensure task completion and operational objectives are met.
- Requires understanding and application of established procedures and full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.
- Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
- Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational
problems. - Applies operational business practices and coordinates with other closely related areas to
improve efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred) OR extensive work experience in a Production Supervisory role, required in lieu of degree.
- Typical Supervisor schedule consists of 12-hour day shift or 12-hour night shift - generally includes every other weekend off, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; including early mornings, nights, and/or off weekends.
