About our emergency department

Our emergency department cares for more than 45,000 patients annually and serves as the primary emergency care destination for southern Middle Tennessee.

We're proud to provide care in brand-new treatment spaces designed to support exceptional patient care and an outstanding work environment. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), we're committed to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Our team cares for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, giving our nurses the opportunity to develop and maintain a broad emergency nursing skill set. You'll also work alongside an emergency department clinical pharmacist, providing an extra layer of support for medication management and high-acuity patient care.

You'll work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and support staff who are committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based emergency care.
