- Lead daily operations across client service, clinical support, and boarding/daycare teams
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and manage personnel matters
- Foster a culture of trust, accountability, teamwork, and outstanding client service
- Partner with lead veterinarian(s) to uphold clinical standards and the client experience
- Manage schedules and labor utilization; monitor attendance and overtime
- Oversee budgeting, revenue growth, and expense control; ensure accurate local accounting and reporting
- Direct purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory management, and facility maintenance
- Ensure accurate billing and charge capture; support insurance-related processes where applicable
- Write, implement, and maintain hospital policies and procedures; ensure regulatory and safety compliance
- Resolve client escalations with empathy and professionalism
- Support urgent-care workflows and after-hours coordination
- Work some weekends and holidays as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet hospital goals Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- License to practice in Idaho, where applicable to the role, or ability to obtain
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
- Minimum 5 years of office or practice management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice-management software
- Demonstrated strength in communication, leadership, time management, and organization
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, analytics, and goal tracking
- Flexible schedule, including availability for some weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working around animals and common clinical materials; able to lift up to 50 pounds; periods of standing, walking, and computer work
- Preferred: CVPM or MHA; experience in strategic planning, decision-making, compliance, and change management Apply
