The incumbent will also perform administrative/ operational duties that accompany their role as an educator with the NCCC, as well as the overall work of the NCCC, such as collecting and documenting relevant education/training activity information to ensure accurate and complete data for reporting and other purposes, preparing materials to distribute to callers, participating in quality improvement meetings and related activities (such as internal training sessions on emerging topics of interest), and assisting (as appropriate) with relevant regulatory activities to ensure program compliance. Education domains may also include best and emerging practices in HIV/viral hepatitis/SUD-related patient care, working with allied professionals to deliver team-based care in these areas, and impacts of systems/policy changes on health care delivery for people living with HIV/viral hepatitis/SUD.
The Clinical Education Specialist will interface with diverse internal and external stakeholders representing various professional and personal experiences: therefore, they will be expected to apply a warm and non-judgmental manner and consistently demonstrate interpersonal professionalism, sensitivity, and integrity.
