As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service while using computer or tablet systems to support access procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs, driver check-ins, delivery documentation, and incident reports as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
