Location: Camden, Maine Compensation: $26–$34 per hour Schedule: 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Weekend rotation Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility | 58 beds New graduates are welcome and will receive compensation based on their qualifications and experience. The facility provides post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term and respite care services. As a PTA, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, supporting individuals as they transition from hospitalization back toward greater function and independence. Competitive hourly compensation Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation Opportunity to work with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care patients Diverse patient population with a variety of rehabilitation needs Collaborative environment with therapy and nursing professionals Opportunity to develop and strengthen your clinical skills in a skilled nursing setting Meaningful patient relationships and the opportunity to follow progress throughout the rehabilitation journey Beautiful coastal Maine location surrounded by the Camden Hills Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans to support patients’ mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional abilities Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and functional mobility Monitor patient tolerance and response to treatment and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist Accurately document treatments and patient progress Encourage and motivate patients as they work toward their rehabilitation goals Promote safe mobility and independence in daily activities Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Provide education and support to patients and caregivers when appropriate Maintain a compassionate and professional approach while delivering patient-centered care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in Maine Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple patient needs in a rehabilitation environment Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and quality patient care New graduates are encouraged to apply Why Camden?
