Dental Hygienist

We are an established private dental practice seeking a full‑time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to cover successive maternity leaves from September 2026 to March 2027, with the possibility of additional coverage. Position Overview Full‑time coverage for 6–8 month maternity leave periods. 8‑hour shifts daily, 6 hours on Fridays (8 am–2 pm). Hourly patient appointments with a focus on high‑quality cleaning. Primary care of patients in a family‑friendly location. PPO and private insurance accepted. Preference for candidates with at least two years of experience. Responsibilities Perform scaling and polishing with piezoelectric and hand instruments. Conduct full‑mouth probing annually. Take digital X‑rays and intraoral photographs as needed. Use iTero intraoral scanning once a year. Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and prevention. Requirements Registered Dental Hygienist with ability to administer local anesthetic agents. Proficiency in operating an X‑ray machine. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.
