Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician - Laboratory

Job Summary The Medical Technologist performs complex procedures for clinical diagnostic purposes. Job Details And Requirements Time Type: Part time (56 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits Typical Hours: Day Shift - 8 hour shifts(0600-1430 or 0630-1500); 2 of 6 weekends, 2 of 6 holidays, and one On Call day per pay period. Education Bachelors of Science degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related science required. If degree is in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, must be certified as a MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) within 12 months of hire. Failure to be certified within 12 months of hire will result in being moved into a Non-certified MT position. If degree is in Biology, Chemistry, or other related science, must be certified as a MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) at time of hire.
