Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd Shift The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring safety and high equipment uptime. The role leads a team of skilled maintenance technicians, providing guidance and troubleshooting expertise for plant equipment and machines, including PLCs, VFDs, Servos, and HMIs. This hands‑on position requires direct involvement in repairs, installations and coordination with the maintenance workforce. Key Responsibilities Direct maintenance workforce on a day‑to‑day basis. Provide direction and oversee all assignments allocated to maintenance technicians. Review planning and scheduling with the maintenance manager. Audit and ensure the quality of work performed by technicians. Effectively convey and schedule maintenance activities with operations. Evaluate technician qualifications and recommend training/development. Replace and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies. Identify corrective actions for technicians. Manage technician schedules and timecards. Supervise the preventative maintenance program for manufacturing equipment. Minimize equipment downtime through corrective and preventative maintenance. Lead and assist with capital improvement projects across the facility. Oversee installation and electrical set‑up of new or moved machinery. Supervise and assist with mechanical repairs throughout the facility and on machines. What We’re Looking For Analysis of equipment problems, root cause identification and project management skills. Technical reading and supervision skills. Experience with PLCs, digital and analog sensors, electrical and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of servo motors, encoders, pumps, gearboxes, steam and ammonia. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate. Computer skills (Word, Excel, charts). Ability to lead continuous improvement concepts. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory/leadership experience. Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience with blow molding, ammonia and boiler systems, union operations and food facility operations is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary.
