NextPoint Group is currently seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support a prime contract we have through our subsidiary, US Contracting in NSAW.Software Engineer Level 2 (SWE2) Profile: A reliable engineer capable of implementing containerized application workflows and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native tooling.Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of deployment pipelines and Helm chartsCollaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate servicesWork with Kubernetes tooling (Helm, GitOps, etc.) to support scalable deploymentsFollow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentationImplement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config mapsSupport internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templatesCore Skills:Comfortable coding in Go, Python, or TypeScriptFamiliar with GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools like ArgoCD or FleetExperience with Kubernetes manifests, Helm, DockerUnderstands basic concepts of infrastructure-as-code and Linux system operationsCan debug and troubleshoot in a containerized environmentMindset:Eager to learn from senior teammatesOpen to working across the full stack and infrastructure boundariesValues automation, documentation, and code reusabilityQualifications:Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required for this position
