Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - $1,594 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 14‑week travel assignment in Hayward, California. The assignment is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT. Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments. Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines. Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment. Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care. Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards. Requirements / Qualifications Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification (NBCOT). BLS certification. Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. State‑specific licensure required. Ability to lift and assist patients safely. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
