Full Stack Developer

Overview Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Work: The Full Stack Developer will deliver comprehensive development and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for an established production Java application environment. This role leverages a PostgreSQL database backend and is deployed on Tomcat and/or JBoss application servers. The Full Stack Developer will operate within a secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, employing modern and innovative technologies to meet evolving mission requirements. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Collaborating with system owners and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document enhancement specifications and detailed requirements. Participating in all phases of the project lifecycle, including system development, implementation, and ongoing production support. Demonstrating advanced proficiency in user interface development, with an emphasis on leveraging JavaScript technologies to create responsive and user-friendly applications. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications - Here's What You Need: A solid foundation in Computer Science is required, with either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field. 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Active Top Secret is required. Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. Minimum Skills Required: Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse technical teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic project environments. Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with front-end frameworks such as React. Knowledge of database design and development, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of Object Relational Mappers, such as Entity Framework Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Gitlab. Relevant certifications in .NET development or cloud technologies. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
