Hours: Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm Sunday 10am - 6pm

Job Description: We’re seeking a passionate and community engaged Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our clinic in Watkinsville, GA. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, is patient-experience focused, and has a passion to deliver high- quality healthcare to the surrounding community. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet patients upon arrival and execute proper check in procedures to ensure accurate patient records by verifying and updating demographics and insurance information
  
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service
• Manage the patient check out process, including scheduling follow ups and providing visit summaries. 
• Manage all incoming and outgoing calls to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and accurately route patients needs or clinical messages to appropriate providers, 
• Uphold HIPAA compliance, patient privacy laws, and safety/ security guidelines
• Partner closely with providers and clinical support staff to ensure a smooth transition of care and clinic flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area for all patients and visitors

Position Requirements:

• Previous medical office experience preferred
  
• Strong communication skills
• Strong technology skills
• Ability to multitask in an organized manner

Schedule Details: 

• 40 hrs/week
