As the Hotel General Manager, you are the linchpin of our establishment, steering the ship with finesse and ensuring the seamless orchestration of all hotel operations. Your leadership will not only set the tone for the entire team but also elevate the guest experience to new heights. In addition, this individual shall be well-versed on hotel-brand standards, strategic leadership, and financial and operational management. This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager.

The Essential Functions, Job Responsibilities, and Supervisory Responsibilities for this position make up your day-to-day. They include the following tasks below:

1. Maintain an unwavering focus on guest satisfaction, implementing strategies that consistently exceed customer expectations.
2. Utilize a "hands-on" approach to build and maintain strong relationships with guests and employees, as well as key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
3. Ensure the seamless operation of all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness, service, and overall guest experience.
4. Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the hotel's unwavering compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
5. Answers calls, texts, and emails as appropriate; responding to each inquiry in a timely manner.
6. Purchases supplies or coordinate services from outside vendors and manages these relationships.
7. Promptly and effectively handles guest requests and complaints with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner, seeking solutions that align with the hotel's policies.
8. Assign duties to staff and provide training or other assistance to ensure consistency with regard to hotel policies, operations procedures, safety standards, and quality service.
9. Host regular team meetings to communicate updates, share feedback, and address any issues.
10. Demonstrate a keen ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue streams. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement to ensure financial success.
11. Collaborate with the marketing team to craft and implement effective sales and marketing strategies. Proactively drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
12. Monitoring of rooms inventory, availability, and rates.
13. Quickly establish rapport with guests to create memorable moments.
14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Implement and oversee new plans or projects to enhance operational efficiency and keep the hotel at the forefront of industry trends.
15. Develop, coordinate, and oversee all department plans and strategies ensuring profitability and providing quality service within the established business plan and budget.
16. Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team, creating a positive and collaborative work environment. Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and resolve employee issues.
17. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new sales staff.
18. Oversees the daily operations and scheduling of the hotel.
19. Oversees their direct reports performance and provides constructive and timely feedback and evaluations.
20. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with hotel policy.

Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 2-4 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry. Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of hotel operations. Brand Experience (Preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Exemplary leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. Occasionally be available to work on evenings and weekends.
