The company develops Specs, advanced eyewear that seamlessly integrates digital experiences into the physical world.Specs feature see-through lenses that place digital objects directly into three-dimensional space, powered by Snap OS, a proprietary, context-aware operating system designed for natural interaction with your hands and voice.Specs Inc. also provides Lens Studio, a full suite of advanced developer tools that powers immersive augmented reality experiences across Specs, Snapchat, and other services.We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Specs team at Snap Inc!What you’ll do:Drive programs for a consumer electronic device from concept to delivery as a system engineering project managerCreate hardware project schedules that align with product requirements, technical challenges, tooling lead-times, and business needsCommunicate with hardware and software engineering, product management, and operationsPlan milestones, anticipate setbacks, and support troubleshooting and/or contingency plansDrive best practices and production processes in a fast-paced production settingDocument and execute on product specifications and test plansDevelop business relationships with external partners and vendorsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent years of experience5+ years experience of electrical, mechanical, or hardware project management at a tech or consumer electronics companyApproximately 25% travel, including internationalKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Expert in schedule creation and management for hardware productsAbility to design experiments (DOE) for hardware build configurations and hardware build managementProficient with materials planning and lead times for hardware buildsSkilled at risk identification and mitigation across hardwareStrong motivational leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications:Proven track record of interdisciplinary system integration of electrical, mechanical, and software componentsExperience with project/issue tracking and version control softwareExperience driving complex programs in a fast-paced consumer electronics environmentIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):The base salary range for this position is $190,000-$284,000 annually.Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $181,000-$270,000 annually.Zone C:The base salary range for this position is $162,000-$241,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.SummaryLocation: Palo Alto, California; Los Angeles, CaliforniaType: Full time
