Travel CT Technologist - $2,220 per week

Job Description & Requirements Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Austell, Georgia. The role is travel, 8‑hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, and requires a valid Radiology license and BLS certification. Salary package is competitive and subject to confirmation. Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Other certifications and licenses may be required. Role Summary The CT Technologist operates CT scanners to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes, prepares and positions patients, sets technical parameters, collaborates with radiologists, maintains equipment, documents procedures, and follows safety protocols. Essential Work Functions Operate CT equipment to produce images of bone, organ, and tissue. Prepare patients for procedures and position them appropriately. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Following written and verbal instructions and PC skills. Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with varied personnel. Technical/motor skills: manipulate equipment lightly, assist procedures. Mental requirements: cope with public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without supervision, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration.
