Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Key Responsibilities:

3. Behavioral Support: Provide direct support to clients during scheduled sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement and other approved behavior modification techniques.

4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in the implementation of behavior plans and discuss client progress.

5. Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of client progress, behavior incidents, and any changes in behavior plans.

6. Training and Education: Assist in teaching new skills and behaviors to clients as outlined in the behavior plan, and provide training to caregivers or family members on implementation techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
- Certifications:

• CPR/BLS Certification: Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• RBT Certification: Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or the willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.

- Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members. Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude are crucial.
- Analytical Skills: Strong observational and analytical skills to accurately collect and interpret behavioral data.
