Manager of Technical Accounting

Manager of Technical Accounting- Northshore MA Our client is seeking a Manager of Technical Accountingto provide technical accounting expertise across complex transactions and partnerships. This role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and works closely with Finance,and external auditors to ensure compliance and effective accounting policies. This company is located just north of Boston and is onsite 3 days/week. Compensation: $125,000-175,000 + bonus Key Responsibilities: Advise on accounting for business combinations, non-controlling interests, equity incentives, and equity method investments. Assess accounting impact of Affiliate transactions and proposed regulatory changes. Determine accounting treatment for capital planning transactions and complex sharing arrangements. Develop, document, and interpret accounting policies to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor FASB, SEC, IASB, PCAOB activities and advocate company positions. Support efficient audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
