Underwriting Risk Audit Consultant

Conducting real-time audit file examinations for underwriters, the full-time salaried Underwriting Risk Audit Consultant will ensure compliance with company underwriting standards, identify inconsistencies, and provide quality reviews while working remotely. Key responsibilities Identify risks not underwritten in compliance with company standards and report findings to the VP, Underwriting Audit Review randomly selected approved cases daily for adherence to underwriting standards and document results Provide recommendations for improving underwriting training and report any inconsistencies in the risk selection process Required qualifications BS/BA degree preferred or applicable work experience Minimum 8 years of individual life underwriting experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Experience with large case and impaired risk underwriting Knowledge of underwriting and policy issue processes Virtual Vocations Inc
