Spray Technician

Responsibilities

• The primary function will be spraying nonselective herbicides on all properties
• Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on all commercial properties
• Monitor landscape health and identify care needs, including diagnosing primary turf problems and basic pest identification
• Maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
• Attend all required field safety training and utilize proper safety equipment to ensure a proactive approach to safety

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in fertilization and chemical applications
• Experience is aquatic herbicide (Preferred)
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Lawn and ornamental certification (Preferred)
• Valid Driver's License

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Monday - Friday
• Some overtime, both weekend and evenings, may be required
