Copeland Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Service Manager with a proven track record of success to join our team. Located just off busy Route 24, our state-of-the-art Chevrolet facility is looking for a strong leader who can take our service operation to the next level. with a minimum of five years of automotive dealership service management experience. State-of-the-Art Chevrolet Facility General Motors Mobile Service Van with large fleet accounts Fully air-conditioned shop for the summer months High-speed Rytec shop doors to maintain a comfortable working environment year-round In-ground Rotary lifts with Trio Arms In-ground alignment rack with Hunter HawkEye Elite Alignment System Dispatch computers at every technician workstation Hunter tire changers, Road Force Elite wheel balancer, and brake lathe Dedicated special tools area with cataloging system Large custom lockers for each technician Busy service drive with modern customer amenities Conveniently located at the busy intersection of Route 24 and Route 123 Just seconds off Route 24, Exit 31B in Easton Employee Benefits Competitive compensation package Health and dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Group life insurance Paid vacation and personal days Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, including but not limited to: Answering technical questions regarding vehicle concerns, warranties, maintenance, and repairs Maintaining customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards Assisting with vehicle diagnostics as needed Ordering parts, equipment, and tools when necessary Managing warranty administration and claim processing Recruiting, training, coaching, and supervising service department employees Working with upper management on hiring, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary matters Enforcing company policies and procedures Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and manufacturer requirements Maintaining strong working relationships with General Motors representatives and vendors Fostering positive employee relations and a productive team environment Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of automotive retail service management experience General Motors dealership experience preferred Reynolds & Reynolds DMS experience preferred ASE Certification (C1) preferred but not required High-volume service department experience preferred Proven track record of achieving CSI and customer satisfaction goals Strong leadership skills and professional work ethic Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check, background check, and pre-employment drug screening Equal Opportunity Employer Copeland Chevrolet is committed to workforce diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
