Hospice Registered Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team inWestland, MI. This role involves providing expert nursing care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life care, ensuring comfort and dignity through every stage of the hospice process. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care and assessment to hospice patients in their homes. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Educate patients and family members on care techniques, symptom management, and disease progression. Document all nursing care and patient observations accurately and thoroughly. Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions. Advocate for patient needs and coordinate care with other health professionals and hospice staff. Requirements Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or home health. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for home visits.
