Material Handler

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMaterial Handlerto join a leading Company located in theSwedesboro, NJsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20 - $26

Responsibilities :

• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction, which may include shipping and/or receiving.

• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials, and records information.

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.

• Conveys materials using a hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids material handlers by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of a power hoist.

• Responsible for addressing and resolving material discrepancy tickets.

Basic Hiring Criteria :

• PPE required: Steel or composite toe shoes.

• Microsoft Office experience (mainly Excel).

• Previous forklift experience.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Must have previous material inspector experience in the Defense industry.
