Assistant General Manager – Firehouse SubsFirehouse Subs is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support restaurant operations, develop team members, and help drive sales and profitability. As the AGM, you'll partner closely with the General Manager to lead the restaurant, ensure operational excellence, and build a strong, high-performing team. This is a key leadership role and a stepping stone to becoming a General Manager.ResponsibilitiesAssist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operationsLead shifts and ensure high standards in food quality, service, and cleanlinessTrain, coach, and develop Crew Members and Shift LeadersSupport hiring, onboarding, and performance managementHelp manage P&L, including labor, food cost, and inventory controlEnsure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standardsHandle guest concerns and ensure an exceptional customer experienceAssist with scheduling, ordering, and administrative tasksStep in to run the restaurant in the absence of the General ManagerQualifications2+ years of restaurant management experience (QSR or fast-casual preferred)Strong leadership and team development skillsExperience with scheduling, inventory, and cost controlExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexible schedule, including nights and weekendsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary or hourly pay (based on experience)Bonus potentialCareer advancement opportunities to General ManagerPaid training and leadership developmentSupportive, team-oriented work environmentWhy Firehouse Subs?Firehouse Subs is built on a culture of service, teamwork, and giving back.
