We Love Who We Serve. SUMMARY:As a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst, you’ll be a key team member in our financial reporting process. Under managerial direction, you will be integral in managing and ensuring the successful execution of the external reporting processes for Kforce Inc. and its subsidiaries in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. This role will work closely with and leverage leadership across the CFO organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and file all quarterly, annual and periodic SEC filings, including Form 10-K, Proxy Statement, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K as well as beneficial ownership Forms 3, 4 and 5, accurately and timely and in line with the applicable reporting requirements.Develop and maintain supporting audit documentation and schedules for all relevant SEC filings.Lead completion of the quarterly and annual SEC and GAAP disclosure checklists.Research and recommend conclusions on GAAP/SEC accounting and external reporting issues, including the implementation of new Accounting Standard Updates.Coordinate completion of the 401k financial statements and audit, including documentation and coordination with external auditors.Support and monitor compliance with the insider trading policy.Contribute to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process as deemed necessary, including identifying and addressing control gaps.Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes (in areas where there is judgment or specialty needed).Develop executive compensation materials and Board deliverables, as needed.Analyze and support equity and stock-based compensation accounting, including tax implications.Partner with the accounting, finance operations, and tax teams, as appropriate.Participate in assigned special projects, as deemed necessary.Deliver ad-hoc reporting as required.Position DescriptionSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:N/A KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS/ATTRIBUTES:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and draft technical accounting memos.Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including solid attention to detail.Superior ability to prioritize activities, multi-task and meet all internal and external reporting deadlines.Demonstrate ability to self-motivate, set goals and meet deadlines.Demonstrate the ability to independently assess, evaluate situations and make independent decisions.Ability to identify deficiencies and take corrective action.Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners.Ability to explain financial and accounting concepts and practices to key business partners with varied backgrounds and expertise.Commitment and adherence to the Firm’s Core Values. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and 2-5 years prior relevant work experience in either public accounting, financial reporting and/or accounting operations.Additional experience with technical GAAP accounting, SEC reporting, stock-based compensation accounting and/or financial analysis knowledge is preferred but not required.Workiva experience is preferred but not required. CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
