- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Primary Shift: Flexible Days
- Typical Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule Rotation:
- Alternating 4 × 10-hour shifts and 5 × 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Maximum of 5 workdays per week
- 6 call shifts per month
- 1–2 weekends of call per month
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience.
- Recent Endoscopy (Endo) RN experience required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (must be completed before the start date )
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations and maintain patient safety.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and discharge instructions.
