Physical Requirements - Standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; Sitting at computer workstation for extended periods; Repetitive motion; Eye strain due to monitoring of multiple computer screens; High stress, quick response environment.

Shift - 7:00am – 3:00pm (Sunday – Saturday)3:00pm – 11:00pm11:00pm – 7:00am12:00am – 12:00pm12:00pm – 12:00amThe Delta Center operates 24/7. Work shifts/schedules may vary dependent upon staffing needs requiring evening(s), weekend(s), and holiday(s) response.Staff is subject to Call-Ins and On-Call Scheduling.

Job Summary - Reporting to the Facilities Systems Supervisor, this position is a critical member of a 24/7 Delta Center Operation responsible for:monitoring and responding to computer systemscritical safety and security systems, including:fire exit door alarm systemsincoming fire alarmselevator alarmsmulti-frequency two-way radio systemgeneral telephone lines, etc.operates equipment to receive, process, and disseminate incoming alarms and general information callsreceives and evaluates incoming requests for public safety assistance and routes requests and/or disseminates information to the appropriate field unit(s) as requireduses discretion in determining severity of situation and appropriate responseutilizes problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, resulting in effective resolutionreports all hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately to leadershipeffectively communicates with all levels of customers in a clear, concise, and professional mannerprepares and maintains daily activity and emergency event logsadheres to and enforces all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)understands and complies with procedures pertaining to emergenciesworks cooperatively with superiors and other employeesremains alert and maintains real time situational awarenessdemonstrates professional integrity and accountability in all transactionsperforms daily tests on systems and alarms to ensure proper function and back-up capability is working properlyperforms preventative and corrective maintenance on equipmentparticipates in the set-up of new facilities and equipmentcompletes end of shift reports and makes preparations for upcoming shiftcompletes all required work documentation accurately and submits on-time

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities - Ms Windows/Office;SAP;KRONOSDriver's License — PreferredDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; Effectively communicate with all levels of customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner; Understand and comply with procedures pertaining to emergencies; Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills resulting in effective resolution; Self-motivated; Carry out tasks independently.
