We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:

• State pharmacist license for Utah required to apply.
• Experience working in hospital pharmacy environments preferred.
• Experience with Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis preferred.
• Experience with VigiLanz required.
• Experience managing pharmacy technicians required. Candidate will work alone with a technician for a portion of the shift.
• BLS or ALS certification preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting NICU, ICU, OR, emergency department, inpatient rehab, behavioral health, or trauma center services preferred.
• Experience providing clinical consult services (e.g., warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin) preferred.
• Familiarity with CIISafe and Pyxis preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100-0700.
• Schedule pattern: 7 on / 7 off (consecutive seven-day work block).
• Will work independently with pharmacy technician coverage during portions of the shift.

Impacting Patient Care

Join a hospital pharmacy team that supports a wide variety of services including NICU, ICU, OR, multiple emergency departments, inpatient rehab, inpatient acute detox, behavioral health, and level II trauma care. Clinical activities include consult services, drug information, and intervention management through VigiLanz. The pharmacy practices a customer-first approach to support nurses and physicians and improve patient outcomes. The existing team demonstrates stable tenure, with multiple pharmacists and technicians having long-term service at the facility.

Snowbasin and Powder Mountain ski areas are approximately 20–40 minutes from Ogden, providing alpine skiing and snowboarding.
