Job SummaryThe select candidate will be responsible for tax return preparation, data analytics and process documentation surrounding indirect tax compliance and audits as applicable on a global basis.Duties/ResponsibilitiesResearch and apply tax statutes and regulations to ensure complianceReview taxability of the products and servicesIndependently research and resolve indirect tax questions from internal departments as well as external tax jurisdictionsSupport tax compliance (federal, state, and/or international) including motor fuel excise, property, sales & use, and value added taxPerform GL reconciliationsSupport tax setups in tax determination engineAssist with cross-functional tax department projects and work closely with accounting contactsRequired Skills/AbilitiesProficiency with one or more accounting systems, including the ability to assimilate new software applications easilyAdvanced-level Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office productsStrong written and verbal communication skills necessary in order to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to collaborate with team membersAbility to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and prioritiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to provide exceptional customer serviceAbility to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepanciesProven analytical problem solverAudit management experienceMust be a self-starter with a strong work ethicEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in corporate accounting or a tax department5+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Tax AccountingPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
