Job Description

Minimum experience: 2 years - unit does not accept first time travelers. Required certifications/skills: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS & EPIC. Weekend: Every other. Call: None. Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed. AYA offer: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements. RTO: Maximum of 7 days per contract. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals accepted - same rate. Please note: Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment).
