Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY

Schedule: Nights

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or to be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or to be obtained within six (6) months of hire).
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
- Current STABLE certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or to be obtained within one (1) year of hire).
- Two (2) years hospital nursing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessments to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Evaluate the learning needs of patients and/or families and provide appropriate education.
- Engage in effective delegation of patient care tasks to ancillary personnel.
- Cultivate therapeutic relationships with patients and families through caring attitudes and behaviors.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards as noted in the ANA Code of Ethics and relevant state nurse practice acts.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
- Punctuality and timely completion of duties are required.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
