Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU Nights position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Position is located in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital in Birmingham, AL
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekends required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required — active license must be in hand (pending licenses not accepted unless otherwise noted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
