Your key responsibilities Consultants identify and analyze clients’ most strategic issues. They serve as the primary client contact, develop work plans, design and conduct analyses, synthesize conclusions, and manage other case team members. Engagements cover growth strategy, due diligence on acquisition candidates, target attractiveness assessment, new market evaluation, turnaround of underperformance, cost‑reduction initiatives, and change implementation. Consultants may assume immediate management responsibility for cases. Skills and attributes for success Perform secondary research using a variety of sources such as analyst reports, market research reports, and news articles. Execute analyses including customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, and macroeconomic forecasting to support strategic recommendations. Design and execute in‑depth interview guides with key stakeholders, industry experts, and customers. Analyze business plans and pro‑forma financial models, identifying key assumptions and drivers. Manage and direct the analytical efforts of junior team members at Associate and Senior Associate levels. To qualify for the role, you must have Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related work experience. Experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market research, or a quantitative research function. Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication in a professional environment. Effective organization and time‑management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines. Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary (approximately 25‑50%). Ideally, you’ll also have MBA or graduate degree with at least 18 months of related work experience. Excellent problem‑solving, project‑management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
