Seeking a Mainframe Developer with superb technical skills to develop and maintain high volume production platforms in the Customer Financial Communications area. The Team We are an engineering team that is part of the Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology organization. Working together and with other engineering and product teams, we deliver the right financial communications products to our customers by aligning the right skillsets to the most critical business priorities. The work is diverse, challenging, and provides continuous learning and growth opportunities. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 8+ years of software development experience in business critical, enterprise-wide applications Mainframe development expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 & VSAM Knowledge of distributed technologies would be a plus Ability to perform detailed analysis and documentation for maintenance and improvement projects in the batch and online environments Deploy and support software releases into production environments Employ your data security skills to keep our customers’ information safe You are detailed and thorough with unit, functional and regression testing Confidence to think and act strategically, share innovative insights, and offer creative solutions to deliver exceptional user experiences Proven strong interpersonal and organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills Adopt flexibility and shift focus to meet the most pressing customer/client needs You bring a growth mentality to work every day as you continue to learn new technologies and skills and seek to share that knowledge with your squad members Please be advised that Fidelity’s business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA, among others.
