Hope Valley Country Club, located in Durham, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Bartenders. Founded in 1926, Hope Valley is an elite private club featuring a classic Donald Ross designed golf course, state-of-the-art tennis facility, resort-style pool complex, and a spacious, welcoming clubhouse offering its members first-class recreation, dining, and programming. Hope Valley is ideally situated in the heart of one of Southeast's most vibrant, exciting areas.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming and polished bar atmosphere for members and guests. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and who takes pride in delivering high-quality hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and guests
• Provide attentive, courteous, and professional service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Follow all club policies and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events and regular service
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
• Accurately process beverage orders and transactions

Schedule: This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and special club events. Must also be 21 years old per alcohol service.

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment Requirements

• Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
