Overview The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team in delivering world‑class care to Veterans who have proudly served our nation. Responsibilities Educate fellows, residents, and medical students through hands‑on teaching and clinical leadership. Provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings as part of the Endocrinology interdisciplinary team. Collaborate with nurse navigators, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and physician colleagues. Support academic engagement, including mentorship and potential faculty appointment at Indiana University School of Medicine. Participate in collaborative research opportunities. Eligibility & Requirements MD or DO degree. Completed an ACGME accredited residency. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) specialty. Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States. Desired completion of Endocrinology fellowship and AB/BC in Endocrinology. United States citizenship required; non‑citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Selective Service Registration required for males born after 12/31/1959. Proficient in written and spoken English. Background check, security clearance, and/or drug screening may be required. May be required to serve a probationary period. Benefits Competitive salary with regular increases and an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000. 50–55 days annually paid time off, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days of paid CME leave.
