Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Current state licensure required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS Must-Have: Open heart experience preferred Experience pulling sheaths preferred CRRT experience highly preferred Level 2 trauma experience or above Description: Great facility is seeking a registered traveling cardiovascular nurse. Current licensure is required along with ACLS and BLS certifications. Patient population includes post PCIs, post bypass, and CHF patients. RNs are required to titrate drips. Clientist or intensivist available in-house 24/7. Respiratory therapy is available in the ICU 24/7. Tele monitor techs are present on this unit, but RNs are required to interpret their own strips. The charting system used is Allscripts.
