Forklift Operator Requirements & Job Duties

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks, production lines, and warehouse storage areas safely and efficiently. Support production processes, including assembly, packaging, labeling, inspection, and product staging. Transport, organize, and replenish inventory to support smooth production flow and warehouse operations. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety standards and OSHA regulations. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and company policies. Inspect materials and products for quality, accuracy, and damage during handling and movement.

High school diploma or GED preferred. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling required. Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations.
