Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,172 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in La Jolla, California. The position requires 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and is for travel employment. Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist with scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent acute‑care experience. Active BLS and ACLS certifications. ARRT (R) National Certification. State‑specific licensing when required. Preferable Vascular Interventional certificate. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Compensation Pay based on 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID #1434564.
