Journeyman Electrician

A successful and growing contracting company in East Canton is seeking a Journeyman Electrician experienced in residential, commercial and light industrial facility applications. This position requires a hard-working and self-motivated individual who can professionally represent the company. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in the Electrical Trade. 2-year degree in an electrically related curriculum preferred. Working knowledge of national electrical codes, arc flash, and other safety requirements. Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to professionally interact with customers, vendors, and sub-contractors. Physical capability to conduct electrical work (e.g., climbing, prolonged standing, kneeling, etc.). Hands‑on computer skills are a plus. Must have an eye for detail and accuracy as it relates to the field. Troubleshooting experience in commercial and residential fields. Be able to work an occasional flexible schedule. Experience in low voltage (voice, data, fire alarm, etc.) is a plus. You must be the type that takes the initiative to help get things done even when it’s not technically in your job description. Have a clean driving record. Display a high level of personal moral integrity. Be willing to submit to pre‑employment and periodic drug/alcohol screening and/or testing.
