Per Diem Anesthesiologist Opportunity

The 174-bed OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL, part of the OSF HealthCare system, offers a per diem anesthesiologist opening with a collaborative team. The facility is operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and has received several awards including the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Safety Excellence Award. The center is also accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.

Shifts are flexible per diem schedules with the opportunity to increase earnings through call shifts. The team is led by Matthew Walsh, MD, Vice President of Clinical Services for NAPA's Midwest Region.

Responsibilities include directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department, managing patients during surgery, performing pre-anesthesia assessments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. A medical degree from an accredited college, residency in anesthesia, and current licensure are required.
