OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Port Orange, FL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operating from Port Orange, FL, you'll serve as an OTR solo CDL-A driver hauling dry van freight nationwide, focused on dependable long-haul performance and customer support.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain tractor-trailers on cross-country routes, ensuring secure freight handling.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs and required paperwork.
• Liaise with dispatch and receivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Dedication to DOT compliance, safety and vehicle care.

Pay starts at 65 CPM with average weekly miles around 2,500, plus bonuses, modern trucks under three years with sleepers/APUs, in-house maintenance, biweekly home time and full benefits.
