CIM Power Systems Engineer

Job Description
Develop and maintain CIM-based power system network models for utility transmission environments, with a focus on Network Analysis Models, OSI EMS systems, RTU and TMS database modeling, and electrical one-line displays. Support accurate modeling and validation of transmission network assets, topology, substations, transmission lines, breakers, transformers, buses, and related power system components. Coordinate with power engineering and EMS teams to maintain accurate network models and support database troubleshooting and validation activities.

- CIM Tools / CIM Applications, Utility EMS / SCADA Environments, SQL, and Power System Database Validation
Required Qualifications
- BE / BTech / MTech in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- Strong power systems and CIM modeling experience.
- Understanding of utility transmission systems and electrical one-line diagrams.
- Experience with network / transmission system modeling and transmission network topology.
Additional Skills
- Experience with OSI EMS systems and Network Analysis Models.
- RTU database creation and maintenance.
- TMS database modeling and electrical one-line display development.
- CIM tools / applications used in utility and EMS environments.
- SQL knowledge for database querying and validation.
- Power system database troubleshooting and EMS database validation.
- Substation and transmission asset modeling, including buses, breakers, transformers, and transmission lines.
