The oceanfront, all-suite hotel reopened in July 2019 after a $35 million transformation. The restaurant features a refreshed dining concept inspired by Santa Monica’s lush natural beauty, offering an inventive menu, craft cocktails, and a curated wine list. Responsibilities Verifying customer identification and age, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment, cleaning glasses and bar utensils, and balancing cash receipts to record sales. Providing a friendly, efficient, high‑touch guest experience, addressing and escalating guest feedback or concerns, and communicating effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent hospitality experience. At least two years of experience tending bar. Food and alcohol certifications (ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service) required. Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails and understanding of complementary flavor pairings. Ability to enforce company policies regarding alcohol consumption and to function in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, punctuality, integrity, and a commitment to personal and public safety. Physical Requirements Work a full‑time schedule defined by operational needs. Frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Use hands and tools safely; adequate vision required. Stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
