\n As a General Labor you will receive training and may be assigned to the department that best matches your skills and abilities. Production areas may include building skids, cutting lumber, assembly, machine operation, the lumber yard, and other production departments.\n

\n Job Duties\n

  \n Build skids and other production materials.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Operate saws, cutting machines, and other production equipment.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Perform assembly-line and general production tasks.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Handle lumber and materials in the lumber yard and other production areas.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Progress through training from using a staple gun to operating a nail gun as skills and proficiency develop.\n

\n

\n Pay\n

\n
• \n

  \n 1st Shift: $16.00/hour\n

\n
• \n

  \n 2nd Shift: $17.00/hour\n

\n
• \n

  \n Weekend Shift: 17.50/hour\n

\n
• \n

  \n Overtime: Voluntary.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Weekend employees work three 12-hour shifts and are paid for 40 hours.\n

\n Schedule\n

  \n 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM\n

\n
• \n

  \n 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM\n

\n
• \n

  \n Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM\n

\n Experience or Skill Requirements\n

\n
• \n

  \n Must be able to read a tape measure. A tape measure with a "cheater" is provided to assist employees.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Must have basic math skills.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Must be able to read and understand work-order sheets.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Must successfully complete a ruler/tape-measure test.\n

\n
• \n

  \n Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting and handling; nail guns weigh approximately 15 lbs.\n
