Dentist (Locum Tenens)
Location: Reston, VA (Washington, DC metro)
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Assignment Dates: ASAP through August 28, 2026
Position Overview
General dentistry coverage for an adult-focused practice with limited pediatric volume. The provider will practice independently with experienced chairside support.
Clinical Scope
- Exams and restorative dentistry
- Preventive dentistry (cleanings supported by on-site team)
- Sealants and routine procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Virginia dental license
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
- Comfort working independently
Practice Environment
- High-volume general dentistry environment
- Modern dental software (training provided if needed)
Credentialing and Onboarding
- Credentialing timeline is typically 1 to 2 weeks for complete files
