EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran Requirements High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year or more experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred One (1) year or more experience in the operation of a forklift preferred One (1) year or more experience with an RF scanner preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to: Be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Lift and/or push/pull up to 100 lbs Sit/stand/travel in a truck for long periods of time Work independently and as a member of a team Work using health and safety methods Work within a diverse work environment Highly thorough and dependable. Must be punctual and have a good attendance record Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts Must have experience with MS Office (intermediate level) Valid Forklift Operator's License certified Safety Sensitive Position Non-Regulated Tech May operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Responsibilities Accompanies driver in the delivery vehicle to various customer locations for deliveries/pick ups Performs delivery functions, which may include loading, unloading, auditing, staging and securing products in the vehicle May be required to operate GPS, scanning devices and cell phones May be required to help driver in spotting and advising of possible dangers when driver is executing tight maneuvers, backing, turning etc. Responsible for dealing with day to day paperwork in a delivery truck environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) May be required to cross border into the USA on an infrequent basis Performs other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
