Our properties live by the philosophy that they are an important part of their communities and look for ways to partner in the local community to make a difference.Job Description:Operations Manager assists in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including, but not limited to, hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and responding to guests' inquiries and concerns. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.The job is simple:Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.Meet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.Complete all required brand specific trainingComplete all required Vision University trainingComplete all required health and safety trainingAdhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standardsPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsProvide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associateBalance the day's business in an accurate and orderly and timely fashionVerify accuracy of cashier's deposits and prepares a daily bank depositPerform administrative and clerical duties as neededIs responsible for personnel reports and filesEnsure proper "new hire" procedures are followed as directed by Vision Hospitality Group, Inc.Verify accuracy of cash on hand, including safe and petty cash. Log any discrepancies on a daily basisHas knowledge of M3 accounting systemPrepare "daily reports" and transmit them to Vision Hospitality Group via accounting systemsMaintain Accounts ReceivablePrepare all Accounts Payable for payment by home office using accounting system on a weekly basisPrepare payroll bi-weekly and transmit to corporate officeDistribute paychecks to associatesHave complete knowledge of all hotel systems including phone PBX system, key system, PMS systemsPrepares all necessary month-end statistical reports as needed by Vision Hospitality GroupNecessary Skills:Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates and hotel assetsHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation proceduresHave dependable transportation availableAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personAble to work a flexible schedule.
