Starting pay rate is $21.25Purpose of the job: Responsible for all receipts, verification and recording of raw materials and products that come into facilities as well as all shipping and product storing functions.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify of incoming shipments information against invoices, orders, C.O.A, bills of lading or other recordsMaintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving recordsCheck in inbound inventory and administer the processing when neededTrace and track internal transfers to ensure accuracy and timely deliverySort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing the ERP/WMS System to maintain accurate inventory recordsVerify receipts/ inter-Branch transfers (IBT) and log them according to required proceduresInvestigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt logRegularly enter inventory data into ERP/WMS System on a timely basisAdvise management of cycle count/inventory issues on a timely basisProcess transactions for shipping functions, picking, staging and/or loading sales orders, including maintaining proper logs and verifying that complete orders can be shipped without damage while ensuring the accuracy of the task performedResponsible for monitoring the returns and hold processExperienceMinimum 2 years' related experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentJob-Specific Knowledge and SkillsEffective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyAbility to quickly learn inhouse systemDeadline oriented with an ability to work with a sense of urgencyBasic knowledge of HACCP/GMP/Health & Safety requirementsAbility to work in a team, and/or under minimal supervisionExcellent organization skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects at a timeMust be able to handle fast paced environment with competing priorities and demandsMust have strong computer (MS Office) and project management skillsSuccess FactorsExecute deliverables of assignment as outlinedPhone calls and email correspondence are completedStakeholder satisfaction and department credibilityWarehouse shipments are organized and properly communicated throughout the departmentKey Responsibilities (Safety)Follow company's health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your Supervisor Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation Food Safety ResponsibilitiesEnsures food safety and food quality programs and procedures and applicable requirements of the SQF system is fully implemented and are followed at all timesEnsures there is a trained and competent backup on key personnel position Communication Network - the key internal and external contacts the job is responsible for communication with on a regular and on-going basis and the purpose of the communication.Internal Inventory Coordinator - Contribute to inventory counts and organization of materialsInternal Shippers & Receivers - Communicate delivery schedules and other inventory inflows/outflowsExternal Vendors - Book AppointmentsQualificationsCompletion of a high school diploma or equivalentWorking ConditionsExposure to heavy machineryExposure to loud noisesExposure to forklift and other machine trafficExposure to extreme heatRequirement to lift up to 50lbs and work in a repetitive motionPay Details: $21.25 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
