This role is also open for contract: ***/hr - ***/hrThe CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing coordinate measuring machine programs to support dimensional inspection of aerospace components. This role plays a key part in ensuring inspection accuracy, product conformity, and manufacturing quality performance.Position Responsibilities:Create, validate, and maintain CMM programs for complex aerospace parts and assembliesInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and inspection plans to ensure dimensional complianceSupport first article, in-process, and final inspection activitiesTroubleshoot inspection issues and improve measurement efficiency, repeatability, and program robustnessCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies and support corrective actionsAbility to work with tight tolerances and quality-critical components; experience supporting production and inspection operations in a precision manufacturing setting.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant exp. Aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience; familiarity with common CMM software platforms and metrology best practices; experience supporting high-mix or fast-turnaround inspection environments.
